Never thought it took me so long to update my blog... my expectation to steal some time during my maternity leave is totally out of the question. Being 1st time mother, being so naive to think that maternity leave is holiday, I can only laugh at myself... ha!
Eventhough it's not easy to take care of baby, however every minute & second I give thanks to the Almighty one, cause He's the one who give me such a precious gift... I can never forget that! Thank you Lord Jesus!
I remember clearly when we were expecting our first child, we did everything we could to prepare. We read books on pregnancy, parenting; Q&A with family and friends. Doing all those things, it didn't prepare us for what to do after the baby was born. We learned basic do's and don'ts, but it was like everything was focus on preparing us for the delivery, it was important, nevertheless.
Once Angel was born, everything started out fine while we were at the hospital. Ceasarean made me so weak and painful (after the pain killer gone), and the midwife took care of our lil' girl. I didn't get to see my baby (only thru photos taken by her dad), until the day i was about to be discharged. She is such an angel... My tears started to form near the edge of my eyes while looking at her... so touched.
It is truely a journey of self discovery and skills learning to bring up a baby. Definitely not easy, I may say. Trial and error most of the times.
This Saturday will mark the 5th month of Angel being in this world. It is exciting to see her growing up day by day; watching her learning to use her little fingers, hands, legs, etc. We are now waiting for her to learn to turn over, a task seems so difficult for her to accomplish. Just by watching her, all worries and headache gone, and it's fun!
